Local Knowledge
Welcome to our Rocky Mountain Paradise
There's so much to learn about Bozeman, I couldn't possibly fit it into just one little article. So instead, I'll keep adding new articles so often on all the little facets of life here in the best town in Big Sky Country.

Many of the new arrivals to Bozeman relocate from a bigger city. They'll immediately notice the snow-capped peaks surrounding our beautiful valley, the lush fields, wild streams, and other natural beauty.
A Long History
I positively adore historic downtown, with its iron-and-brick buildings meant to withstand the harshest of winters. Its rustic charm belies a rich cultural scene; symphony, film festival, fabulous restaurants, and more art galleries than you can shake a paint brush at.

The Great Outdoors
If you’re bored in Bozeman, you’re not trying very hard. Outdoor activity rules in Bozeman, whether you’re plunging into the North Bowl at Bridger Bowl, mountain biking or XC skiing at Bohart Ranch, or tempting the trout in our blue-ribbon streams and rivers.

Fantastic Growth
Our little town has witnessed a few years of fantastic economic growth. The population has grown fairly quickly, Montana State University continues to offer outstanding opportunities, and we now have the second-busiest airport in Montana.

Skiing, Biking & Hiking
Cross-country, downhill, snowboard, and telemark at our local ski resorts in the winter or get out your mountain bike or hiking boots during the summer. Don't forget your binoculars for the excellent bird-watching — The Bridgers are along one of the major raptor migration pathways. Hawks and eagles abound!
