Like You, We Chose Bozeman

I grew up in Bozeman. After graduating from Montana State University, I moved all around the world with my husband in the Air Force, and lived in some of the most beautiful places in the world. We could’ve settled anywhere in the world, but nowhere in Europe or America could win our hearts over Bozeman and the Gallatin Valley.

I Know the People and the Places

I’m very familiar with Bozeman, and especially with its history. I can help you know the story of a neighborhood, where it’s been, and where it’s going.

My family has been deeply involved in the growth of this town and I know the people and families that settled Bozeman and developed it through the generations. I involve myself with civic groups such as Rotary, Daughters of the American Revolution, Christ the King Lutheran Church, the Bridger Canyon Property Owners Association and the Bridger Canyon Women's Club.

Being an active member of the community and knowing the key leaders in the area well means that I can work all the harder for you and help you to find your dream. I will never pressure you, and with my Masters and Ph.D. in family counseling I have the sensitivity and goal of listening to your needs and helping you to find the perfect home or property that will fulfill your dreams.

Real Estate Agent and Family Therapist

What is your dream? I promise that I won’t sell you on mine, but that I’ll help you discover your own right answer. I spent more than 20 years as a counselor and family therapist, and I know how to help a family pinpoint its wants and needs.

What does that mean for you? I’m an active listener. I will help you figure out what it is you want, and narrow it down to specifics.

We’ll also establish priorities; i.e. the two-car garage is more important than the hot-tub. After all, Bozeman is a “lifestyle” town, and we should fit your home to your lifestyle, not the other way around.

“Are You the Biggest, Best Firm in Town?”

I certainly do not run the biggest or busiest office in town. I don’t want that, and, in my opinion, it’s not the best path for you either.

Ask yourself: Is the busiest agent in town interested in showing you the right properties? Are they going to listen to everything you say and find your perfect home? Or are they going to farm things out to assistants and collect their fee if you chance upon a semi-suitable home?

You Found the Perfect Home. Now What?

I’ll lead writing up a contract, make sure we cover all contingencies, keep track of the process, and hold the deadlines as sacrosanct. You’ll also have me on your side at the inspection and the appraisal. Basically, I’ll negotiate hard to get you everything you want — to get you the house you want and need.

It’s the process that begins after finding the home where you'll really come to think of me, I hope, as your friend and personal representative.

Commercial Property and Land

My family and I have been deeply involved in the local economy and land development for a generation — in fact, my father received a lifetime achievement award from the Bozeman Chamber of Commerce in 2005. My mother owned and operated a fabric store on Main Street for 20 years, and she was named Small Business Man of the Year two years in a row.

Which is short-hand for saying that together, we will find the perfect land or commercial property for you. Whether for investment or business purposes, my clients have relied on my local knowledge for proper valuation.
